Mangools Review 2026: Plans, Limits, KWFinder and Who It’s For

Mangools is a Slovak bundle of five SEO tools, led by KWFinder, and an AI search tracker. Basic costs $49 monthly or $29.90 billed yearly; the pricing page opens on the SEO + AI bundle, $37.70 billed yearly or $61 monthly.
Verdict: 3.5/5 (output quality not scored). Good value for bloggers, freelancers and local businesses that need keyword research and a few hundred tracked keywords. Daily rank tracking starts only on Agency ($129 a month, SEO only). Look elsewhere for site audits, which the bundle lacks, or for link research beyond Majestic’s index.

What Mangools is: five SEO tools and an AI tracker
One subscription unlocks five SEO apps that share a single account. KWFinder finds keywords, SERPChecker analyzes search results, SERPWatcher tracks rankings, LinkMiner lists backlinks and SiteProfiler sums up any domain. A sixth app, AI Search Watcher, tracks how AI chatbots and Google’s AI answers mention a brand.
Mangools doesn’t sell the five SEO apps one by one, because they feed each other: “Keyword Difficulty metric is based on data from our SERPChecker module”. Around the paid core sit free extras such as a SERP Simulator, a Reddit Threads Finder and an AI Search Grader.
The company behind the brand is CodeCat s.r.o. in Bratislava, Slovakia. Its founder launched the first KWFinder in August 2014, Mangools became a brand in May 2016, and SiteProfiler joined as the fifth tool in September 2018. The vendor claims more than 25,000 paying customers.
It is also candid about its scope: “We’re no giant all-in-one tool, but you’ll get all the features you need”. A site audit is not among them. The tool list has no crawler, although the vendor’s comparison page with Ahrefs promises “site audits”.
Mangools pricing in 2026: SEO only or SEO + AI
Each plan comes in two versions: SEO only, with a token AI allowance of one monitor and 5 prompts, or SEO + AI, which adds AI Search Watcher Pro with 500 prompts. The pricing page shows the bundle first, in euros for visitors in Europe.
| Plan | SEO only, monthly | SEO only, billed yearly | SEO + AI, monthly | SEO + AI, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $49 | $29.90 a month ($358.80 a year) | $61 | $37.70 a month ($452.40 a year) |
| Premium | $69 | $44.90 a month ($538.80 a year) | $81 | $52.70 a month ($632.40 a year) |
| Agency | $129 | $89.90 a month ($1,078.80 a year) | $141 | $97.70 a month ($1,172.40 a year) |
On every plan, the AI tracker adds $12 a month, or $93.60 a year on annual billing. Sold on its own, AI Search Watcher Pro was listed at €49 a month (€418.80 a year) for visitors in Europe; we found no dollar price. If you also want the SEO tools, the bundle is the cheaper route to AI tracking: $12 a month extra instead of a second subscription.
Yearly plans are paid in one charge. Mangools’ FAQ promises you can “save up to 35%”, but by our arithmetic SEO-only plans billed yearly cost 39% less on Basic, 35% on Premium and 30% on Agency. Archived copies of the price list show SEO-only prices unchanged since at least January 2025. Sales do happen: in December 2025, a Black Friday offer cut the bundle’s Basic to $43.85 a month.

What each plan allows
Daily limits run on a rolling clock: they refresh 24 hours after your first request, not at midnight. Everyone on an account shares the same limits, and Basic is a one-person plan with no seats to add.
| Limit | Basic | Premium | Agency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keyword lookups per 24 hours (KWFinder) | 100 | 500 | 1,200 |
| SERP lookups per 24 hours (SERPChecker) | 100 | 500 | 1,200 |
| Keyword suggestions per search | Up to 200 (25 by domain) | Up to 10,000 (1,000 by domain) | Up to 10,000 (1,000 by domain) |
| Tracked keywords (SERPWatcher) | 200, updated weekly | 700, updated weekly | 1,500, updated daily |
| Backlink rows a month (LinkMiner) | 100,000 | 500,000 | 1,200,000 |
| Site analyses per 24 hours (SiteProfiler) | 20 | 70 | 150 |
| AI prompts, checked weekly | 5; 500 with SEO + AI | 5; 500 with SEO + AI | 5; 500 with SEO + AI |
| Extra seats included | None, and none to buy | 3, more can be bought | 5, more can be bought |
| Logins on two devices at once | No | Yes | Yes |
Free plan instead of a trial
There is no free trial. The free plan needs no card and gives 5 lookups per 24 hours, each with 15 related and 5 competitor keywords: enough to try the interface, not to plan a site.

KWFinder: what one keyword lookup gets you
KWFinder is the bundle’s keyword research app. Search by keyword or by a competitor’s domain, and you get search volumes with their history, a Keyword Difficulty score and suggestions. The vendor reports 2.5 billion keywords, growing by about 20 million a month, in about 65,000 locations down to city level.
How Mangools counts usage matters more than the headline limit. The rules from its FAQ:
- A search is one lookup. “One keyword lookup counts each time you type a keyword, domain or URL” and press the search button.
- So is an import: your own keyword list counts as a single lookup.
- Difficulty scores use SERP lookups. Clicking a suggestion for its live Keyword Difficulty costs one SERP lookup, so Basic’s 100 SERP lookups also cap how many keywords you can score in 24 hours.
- Recent results are free: recently cached SERPs don’t count against the limit.
Two data limits are worth knowing. Search by domain covers only 17 countries, including the US, the UK, Canada and Australia. Volumes also lag: the FAQ speaks of a one-month delay, yet its own example, “latest search volumes from March in July”, spans four months.
The data comes from “multiple data providers alongside our own know-how”, unnamed. Ahrefs reports 28.7 billion keywords in Keywords Explorer, about 11 times more by each vendor’s own count; our KWFinder and Keywords Explorer comparison puts the two side by side.
SERPWatcher: 200 to 1,500 keywords, mostly weekly
SERPWatcher tracks any number of domains from one shared keyword limit: 200 on Basic, 700 on Premium and 1,500 on Agency. The tool description sets the pace: “Rank tracking with weekly updates (daily on the Agency plan)”. Results can be localized to more than 65,000 locations, on desktop or mobile.
Two FAQ counting rules matter here. Tracking a keyword on desktop and mobile “will count as two tracked keywords”, so Basic covers 100 keywords on both devices. And a featured snippet counts as position 1 in SERPWatcher, though not in SERPChecker.
Reporting suits client work: shareable interactive reports, email alerts on important changes, a Search Console import, white-label reports and a Looker Studio connector.
Per keyword, Mangools Basic is the expensive plan. Billed yearly, SEO-only Basic costs $14.95 a month per 100 tracked keywords, Premium $6.41 and Agency $5.99. Ahrefs Lite works out to $14.33 per 100 with weekly updates, and SE Ranking Core to $5.16 per 100 with daily updates, at its price of 7 October 2026.
One outdated promise to ignore: the product blurb on G2, in an archived copy from 15 July 2026, still reads “see daily ranking updates”. On current plans, only Agency gets them.

LinkMiner, SiteProfiler and AI Search Watcher
LinkMiner shows Majestic’s backlink data rather than an index of its own. The vendor puts it at 9.5 trillion backlinks across Majestic’s fresh and historic indexes, scored with metrics such as Citation Flow and Trust Flow. Basic retrieves 100,000 backlink rows a month; “new” links are those found in the past 90 days.
That is enough to study a competitor’s best links or check your own, but thin for link building at scale. Index sizes don’t settle it either: Ahrefs says its live index refreshes every 15 to 30 minutes, and each vendor counts links its own way.
SiteProfiler sums up a domain with authority metrics from Moz and Majestic, its backlink profile and its most popular content, at 20 analyses per 24 hours on Basic.
AI Search Watcher: eight AI engines, checked weekly
The AI tracker runs your prompts through eight systems: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Mistral and Llama. Each prompt is checked twice per update because, in the vendor’s words, “smaller brands are the first to blink in and out”. The bundle’s 500 prompts are monitored weekly, with unlimited monitors (sets of prompts for one brand, site and location).
Weekly data is slow if you are testing content changes. One Trustpilot reviewer (1 star, 2 August 2026) also complained of “completely wrong information about my website SEO/AI visibility”, without naming the tool. If AI answers are your main concern, compare dedicated trackers in our guide to AI visibility tools.
Refunds, renewals and the fine print
- A 48-hour refund. “If you are not satisfied we will issue a full refund within 48 hours of your payment.” It doesn’t apply to two consecutive subscriptions; claim it by email or live chat.
- Auto-renewal is on from day one. You are charged each month or year until you disable it under Active plan in the dashboard, and the plan runs to the end of the prepaid period.
- Yearly renewals get 14 days. The terms add a money-back window for annual renewals, with a $20 handling fee for business customers or wherever the law allows it; refunds take up to 5 business days.
- Some payments are final. Crypto and wire transfers are non-refundable, and the terms won’t refund a plan “in order to purchase the same subscription plan with a discounted price”.
- EU consumers lose the 14-day withdrawal right once they start using the paid service with their consent.
- Plans can change. The terms let Mangools change plan parameters or cancel a plan “unilaterally”, and keep the entry-level plan for new users only. They were last updated on 20 June 2023; material changes need 30 days’ notice.
You can pay by Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or Discover, by bank transfer, in crypto or with PayPal through Paddle. Upgrades are prorated against the time already paid for.
Mangools reviews: Trustpilot, G2 and Capterra
On 21 October 2026, Trustpilot showed 4.5 out of 5 (“Excellent”) from 167 reviews: 90% five stars and 7% one star. Trustpilot adds its own caveat: “This company hasn’t invited customers recently, so reviews may not be representative”.
G2 blocked our requests, so its figures come from an archived copy dated 15 July 2026: 4.7 from 97 reviews, 84 of them from companies with 50 or fewer employees. Capterra showed 4.8 from 92 reviews in a copy dated 1 September 2026.
What reviewers like:
- Value: a local SEO provider of nearly a decade calls it “definitely the best bang for the buck tool out there” (Trustpilot, 8 July 2026).
- Ease of use: “User-Friendly” is the most common positive tag on G2 (7 reviews), ahead of “Keyword Ranking” (6) and “Affordable” (5).
- Support: a customer who switched roles writes that the company “still honored refund despite technically being too late” (Trustpilot, 24 September 2026).
Complaints worth weighing:
- Depth: “Limited Features” is the top negative tag on G2 (4 reviews), and G2’s AI-generated summary says the toolset “may lack depth for advanced SEO analyses”.
- The free plan: a 3-star review (3 July 2026) found the tool “good enough for a free tool, but it has the potential to be better”.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
A good fit:
- Bloggers and niche-site owners who research keywords a few times a week and track up to 200 positions.
- Local businesses and local SEO freelancers: keyword research, SERP checks and rank tracking work down to city level. Listings and Google Business Profile tools are not in the bundle; our guide to SEO tools for small businesses covers them.
- Solo marketers who want keywords, rankings and links under one login for under $50 a month billed yearly.
Look elsewhere if:
- You run an agency. Mangools Basic has no seats, daily updates start on Agency at $129 a month for SEO only, and 1,500 keywords is the most a standard plan tracks.
- Link building is the job. LinkMiner relies on Majestic’s index, with 100,000 rows a month on Basic.
- You need technical SEO. Without a site audit, you will need a separate crawler or a suite that includes one.
- You want daily rankings plus a site audit: SE Ranking Core tracks 2,000 keywords daily for $129 a month, the monthly price of Mangools Agency, and Semrush’s SEO plan 500 for $139.
Mangools alternatives: SE Ranking, Ahrefs and Semrush
The usual reasons to look past this bundle are daily rank tracking, a site audit and deeper link data. Plans compared:
| Plan | Price a month: monthly / yearly | Rank tracking | Trial and refunds | Trustpilot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mangools Basic, SEO only | $49 / $29.90 | 200 keywords, weekly | Free plan; full refund within 48 hours | 4.5 (167) |
| SE Ranking Core | $129 / $103.20 | 2,000 keywords, daily | 14-day trial, no card; refunds only if the service fails | 4.2 (712) |
| Ahrefs Lite | $129 / $107.50 | 750 keywords, weekly | No trial; no refunds “in general” | 2.1 (324) |
| Semrush SEO | $139 / $117.33 | 500 keywords, daily | 7-day trial; refund only on a first yearly plan | 1.6 (1,422) |
- SE Ranking for daily tracking and audits. Core includes 2,000 daily keywords, 100 AI prompts a day across five AI engines and audits of 250,000 pages a month. Details are in our SE Ranking review.
- Ahrefs for link research on its own crawler, with weekly rankings on every plan. It also lists a $29 Starter plan and Ahrefs Free for sites you verify. See Mangools vs Ahrefs and our Ahrefs alternatives.
- Semrush for daily tracking plus Site Audit on its SEO plan. It rates 1.6 on Trustpilot, where an October 2026 review complains of a charge after a free trial. More in Semrush alternatives.
Don’t rely on the vendor’s own comparison pages: the one against Ahrefs says Ahrefs has no free plan and quotes an outdated price.
Our score: 3.5 out of 5, and how we checked
We score every tool on six weighted criteria, explained on our How we test page. We have no Mangools account yet, so output quality is not scored, and the total is the weighted average of the other five.
| Criterion | Weight | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price for real work | 25% | 4 | Cheapest of the four plans above, but Basic costs more per tracked keyword than Ahrefs Lite |
| Output quality | 25% | Not scored | No account yet |
| Limits and fine print | 15% | 3 | Weekly ranks below Agency; devices counted separately; no seats on Basic; no site audit |
| Billing and reputation | 15% | 4 | Public prices, self-serve cancellation, 48-hour refund; Trustpilot 4.5 from 167 reviews |
| Support and learning | 10% | 3 | Guides for each tool, FAQ, chat and email; some vendor pages out of date |
| Maturity of AI features | 10% | 3 | AI tracking live in eight engines, but weekly, with 5 prompts outside the bundle |
The math: 0.25 × 4 + 0.15 × 3 + 0.15 × 4 + 0.10 × 3 + 0.10 × 3 = 2.65. Divided by 0.75, the total weight of the scored criteria, that gives 3.53, rounded to 3.5. On our scale, 3.0 to 3.9 means good for specific cases: read the limits first.

Frequently asked questions
SEO-only plans cost $49, $69 or $129 a month, or $29.90, $44.90 and $89.90 a month paid yearly. The SEO + AI bundle, shown first on the pricing page, costs $61, $81 or $141, or $37.70 to $97.70 a month paid yearly. Prices are in US dollars, checked on 21 October 2026.
There is no trial, but the free plan needs no card: 5 lookups per 24 hours, each with 15 related and 5 competitor keywords. Paid plans come with a full refund within 48 hours of payment, which works as a very short trial.
No. Every plan includes KWFinder, SERPChecker, SERPWatcher, LinkMiner and SiteProfiler, because Keyword Difficulty in KWFinder relies on SERPChecker data. Separate API plans exist for KWFinder and SERPChecker outside the normal subscription, and the SEO + AI bundle adds AI Search Watcher.
Weekly on Basic and Premium, and daily only on Agency: $129 a month, or $89.90 billed yearly, for SEO only. A keyword tracked on desktop and mobile takes two of the plan’s slots: 200 on Basic, 700 on Premium or 1,500 on Agency, shared by all your domains.
No. The tool list has no crawler or technical audit; SiteProfiler reports authority metrics, backlinks and popular content, which is a different job. Pair the bundle with a separate crawler, or pick a suite with a site audit on its entry plan, such as SE Ranking Core, Semrush’s SEO plan or Ahrefs Lite.
Yes, within 48 hours of payment, by email or live chat, but not for two consecutive subscriptions. Annual renewals have a 14-day window, with a $20 handling fee for business customers or where the law allows it. Crypto and bank transfers are never refunded, nor is a plan you cancel to rebuy at a discount.
Only if you will track AI answers. The bundle adds $12 a month, or $93.60 a year, for 500 weekly prompts across eight AI engines, including Claude. AI Search Watcher Pro alone was listed at €49 a month. Without the bundle, every plan includes just 5 prompts and one monitor.
